hi my name is shelly and my son eli is in awana at the rivervalley alliance church.. he has you down as your missionary that he needs to learn about.. what you do to tell people about jesus.. if you could reply back i would greatly appreciate it.. thank you and god bless.. i have looked at your blog.. im awstruck at how wonderful you are that you learn new languages to talk with all people of god..

Kristen,
I am the media tech at Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton, Iowa. I would like to feature you as our “Missionary of the Month” for August, as our church has several ties to Mali. You may know; Tim & Bev Wright or Bob & Becky Braafhart. Both couples are missionaries to Mali and have risen out of our congregation. We also have taken part in several short-term missions trips there. I hope to get there some day myself.
In any event, I will be putting your picture up in our pre-service announcement video prior to our services on Sunday mornings. I would love to include any prayer requests that you might have so that we may share with you in your service to Mali.

Hey Kristen! My name is Sarah Barton. I was randomly searching Albertville photos and came across your blog and all of a sudden saw a picture of something all-too-familiar: a picture of the Centre!! I used to live on the second floor on the corner with my family (1999-2000). We we then missionaries in Bénin. I saw that you are working in Mali– we had friends go there from the Centre, the Brends. I don’t know if they’re still there. Anyway, your blog made my night. Such crazy flashbacks. I miss Albertville so much.
I’d love to hear how your time in Mali is going!
